This story happened in Italy after World War II. Confectioner Pietro Ferrero (founder of the company Ferrero Rocher) prepared chocolate sweets for a local holiday. It was a very hot weather, sun shined so much and all chocolate started melting....it was a failure you might think, but Pietro Ferrero understood that if he can't recover chocolate figures and he started spreading it on the slices of bread and selling to the guests of the holiday.
Sandwiches with chocolate were very popular and Ferrero got more money than he expected.
After that Ferrero perfected the recipe to the state of paste and put it in a jar. First batch of the new sweet was sold out immediately! Pietro understood that that successful idea will bring him a lot of money!
Later in convey has company trying to say and help to understand to people that the best breakfast is sandwich with chocolate paste.....I think everybody remembers this ad.
After 2 months of conquering the whole of Italy ,Nutella entered the world market and now everyone knows this paste and it has become a symbol of Italy all over the world.
This story shows us that even failures sometimes can turn into a good opportunity,
